Bad news from the Hill:an amendment introduced by Senator Tom Coburn challenging the Railroad to Nowhere has been defeated by a 49-48 vote.

Lott must go. He's not a conservative. He's just another oldtime logrolling Southern Pol, like Robert C. Byrd. He's all for states' rights except when it comes to the state's right to build its own roads.
